My name rhymes with the word, body. As in, you have a body with a head, arms, and legs. I like to suggest that folks say the word "body", then replace the first letter ("b") with an "m" sound in order to say "Mari". If seeing the letters in your mind's eye helps, I suggest seeing it in your head as "Mawdy" or "Moddy". 🙂 If you accidentally mis-pronounce my name, it is okay. I would say that 95% of folks say it incorrectly the first time. 😉

Astrology is the ancient practice of studying the movements and positions of celestial bodies—such as planets, stars, the sun, and the moon—and interpreting their influence on human life, behavior, and events on Earth. Astrology is a system of pattern recognition. For centuries astrologers have been mapping and correlating events and human characteristics to the movements of the planets, stars, and other astronomical bodies. Exploring this system can provide an individual with insights into their personality, strengths, challenges, and more. Right now I offer natal chart astrology consultations where I interpret a client's natal chart, which is created based on their exact birth date, time, and location. The natal cart is a map of where all the planets were in their journey around the Sun at the exact moment the client was born. My goal when interpreting a natal chart is always to present the client with helpful information that they can then experiment with and integrate into their lives if they choose to. It's important to remember that although a natal chart provides a map of different energies for an individual, it is up to the individual in how the choose to manifest those energies. My twin sister is a great example of this. We have nearly identical natal charts, since our birth times differ by a single minute. Although we have the same high-level energies, we express those energies in some very different ways in practice. Take what resonates, and leave the rest behind. :)

Human Design is a powerful tool that combines astrology, the I'Ching, Kabbalah, and the Hindu chakra system to reveal the unique energy you bring into the world. In a Human Design consultation, a Human Design chart is first generated from your birth information, which includes your exact date, time, and location. The HD chart contains a wealth of information, including but not limited to: 1. Type - Your HD type (e.g., Generator, Manifestor, Projector, Reflector) describes how your energy interacts with the world. 2. Profile - Your profile gives information about your conscious and unconscious archetypes 3. Strategy - Your strategy is the recommended way to make decisions that align with your energy, helping you avoid resistance and frustration in life. 3. Authority - Your personal decision-making tool. Depending on your chart, it may be based on emotions, intuition, or other internal signals. 4. Centers - You’ll explore the defined (consistent energy) and open (influenced by the environment) centers in your chart, which represent different aspects of your life and energy, like communication, emotions, and identity. Each consultation is unique, depending on your chart and the focus of the session. My goal in interpreting a client's chart is to help them understand themselves through the lens of Human Design, and to encourage them to experiment with the information presented in the reading. It's important to remember that although a Human Design chart provides a map of different energies for an individual, it is up to the individual to choose how they will manifest those energies.
